Specimen Handling and Processing Fee of $25 (one time per visit)

Amylase $10
Measures a digestive enzyme (mostly from the pancreas). Helps evaluate sudden abdominal pain and pancreatitis.

ANA by IFA Rfx Titer/Pattern $10
Screens for antinuclear antibodies linked to autoimmune conditions (e.g., lupus). If positive, the lab reports the strength (titer) and pattern for added clues.

CBC With Differential/Platelet $10
Counts red blood cells, white cells (by type), and platelets. Helps assess infections, anemia, bleeding issues, and overall health.

CMP14 (Comprehensive Metabolic Panel) $10
Checks electrolytes, kidney and liver function, and blood sugar. Useful for routine health checks and medication monitoring.

C-Reactive Protein, Quant $10
A general inflammation marker. Used to track inflammation and response to treatment.

C-Reactive Protein, High Sensitivity (Cardiac Risk Assessment) $10
Used in high sensitivity tests to assess cardiovascular risk.

Ferritin $10
Reflects iron stores. Low suggests iron deficiency; high may occur with inflammation or iron overload.

FSH  (Folicle Stimulating Hormone) $10
Pituitary hormone for ovarian function and sperm production. Used to evaluate fertility, menstrual changes, and menopause.

Insulin $10
Measures insulin level. Helps evaluate low blood sugar episodes, insulin resistance, and some pancreatic issues.

Lipase $10
Digestive enzyme mainly from the pancreas. Helps evaluate pancreatitis and abdominal pain.

Lipid Panel with LDL/HDL Ratio $10
Measures total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides, plus ratio. Used to assess heart disease risk and guide treatment.

Luteinizing Hormone(LH) $10
Pituitary hormone that triggers ovulation and supports testosterone production. Used in fertility and hormone evaluations.

Magnesium $10
Essential mineral for muscles, nerves, and heart rhythm. Low or high levels can cause cramps, weakness, or rhythm changes.

Phosphorus $10
Mineral important for bone/energy balance. Abnormal levels can relate to kidney, bone, or hormonal issues.

Prolactin $10
Pituitary hormone involved in milk production. Checked for irregular periods, infertility, or nipple discharge.

Rheumatoid Factor (RF) $10
Autoantibody often seen in rheumatoid arthritis and some other conditions. Usually interpreted with anti-CCP, ESR/CRP, and symptoms.

RPR $10
Screening test for syphilis. Positives are confirmed with specific follow-up testing.

Sedimentation Rate-Westergren $10
General marker of inflammation. Often paired with CRP and clinical evaluation.

Uric Acid $10
Waste product related to gout and kidney stones. High levels can trigger painful joint flares.

ABO Grouping and Rho(D) Typing $15
This is a description of what Amylase does.

 

Apolipoprotein A-1 $15
Major protein in HDL (“good” cholesterol). Helps refine cardiovascular risk.

Apolipoprotein B (ApoB) $15

Protein on LDL and other “atherogenic” particles. Often a stronger indicator of heart risk than LDL alone.

 

Cortisol $15

Measures the main adrenal “stress” hormone. Helps evaluate conditions like adrenal insufficiency or Cushing’s syndrome.

 

DHEA-Sulfate (DHEA-S) $15

Adrenal hormone/androgen precursor. Helps evaluate irregular periods, excess hair growth, fertility issues, or adrenal disorders.

 

Estradiol $15

Primary estrogen hormone. Measured for menstrual/ovarian function, fertility, menopause, and hormone therapy monitoring.

 

Folate (Folic Acid), Serum $15

B-vitamin important for red blood cells and pregnancy. Low levels can cause anemia.

 

Hb A1c $15

Average blood sugar over ~3 months. Used to screen for and monitor diabetes.

 

Prostate-Specific Ag (PSA) $15

Protein made by the prostate. Used to screen (after discussing pros/cons) and to monitor prostate conditions.

 

PT and PTT $15
Blood clotting tests (prothrombin time and partial thromboplastin time). Used to evaluate bleeding/clotting disorders and to monitor some blood thinners.

 

PTH, Intact $15

Parathyroid hormone that regulates calcium. Helps evaluate high/low calcium, parathyroid disorders, and vitamin D issues.

T3, Free  $15
Unbound (active) T3 level. Helps assess thyroid activity, especially in suspected overactive thyroid.

T3  $15
Total triiodothyronine. Helps assess thyroid function, especially when hyperthyroidism is suspected.

T3 Uptake  $15
An older test used to estimate binding proteins related to thyroid hormones. Sometimes used in combination to interpret thyroid function.

T4 and TSH
Core thyroid tests: TSH (pituitary signal) and T4 (thyroxine). Used to diagnose and monitor hypo- or hyperthyroidism.

Testosterone  $15
Measures total testosterone. Helps evaluate fatigue, libido, fertility, and endocrine concerns in all genders.

Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) Ab $15
Autoantibodies linked to Hashimoto’s and other autoimmune thyroid disease. Helps clarify cause of thyroid dysfunction.

Uric Acid $15
Waste product related to gout and kidney stones. High levels can trigger painful joint flares.

Vitamin B12 $15
Essential for nerves and blood cells. Low levels can cause anemia and neuropathy.

Zinc, Plasma or Serum $15
Essential mineral for immune function, wound healing, and taste/smell. Low levels can occur with poor intake or malabsorption.

hCG, Beta Subunit, Quant  $25
Measures precise level of pregnancy hormone (hCG). Used to confirm and track early pregnancy or evaluate pregnancy-related concerns.

Lipoprotein (a) [Lp(a)] $25
Inherited particle that raises heart and stroke risk. A one-time measurement is often recommended, especially with family history.

Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG), Serum $25
Protein that binds testosterone and estrogen. Helps interpret “free” vs “total” hormone levels in fertility or endocrine workups.

Testosterone, Free and Total $25
Measures both total and the unbound (active) testosterone. Gives a fuller picture when SHBG is abnormal.

Thyroxine Binding Globulin (TBG) $25
Protein that carries thyroid hormones in blood. Helps interpret unusual thyroid test patterns.

Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy  $25
Best test for vitamin D status. Important for bone health, immune function, and mood.

Varicella-Zoster Virus (VZV) Ab, IgG $25
Checks immunity to chickenpox/shingles from past infection or vaccination.

CA 19-9  $50
Tumor marker sometimes elevated in pancreatic and other GI cancers. Used to monitor known disease—not for general screening.

Breast cancer–associated marker. Used to monitor treatment or recurrence in people already diagnosed.

Cancer Antigen (CA) 125 $50
Marker that can rise in ovarian cancer and some non-cancer conditions. Used with exams/imaging to monitor—not a screening test for everyone.

Breast cancer–related marker. Primarily for tracking treatment response or recurrence.

EBVCA (IgG/M) $50
Epstein-Barr virus capsid antigen antibodies. IgM suggests recent “mono”; IgG indicates past infection.

ESR-Wes + ANA + RF Qn + CRP $50
Panel combining general inflammation tests (ESR, CRP) with autoimmune markers (ANA, RF). Useful for unexplained joint pain, fatigue, or inflammatory symptoms.

HIV Ab/p24 Ag with Reflex $50
Fourth-generation HIV screen that detects early infection (p24 antigen) and antibodies. Reflex testing confirms positives.

Homocyst(e)ine $50
Amino acid linked to B-vitamin status. Elevated levels may increase cardiovascular and clotting risk.

HSV 1 and 2 Ab, IgG $50
Blood test for past exposure to herpes simplex types 1 and 2. Does not show where lesions may occur or if infection is new.

H. pylori Breath Test $75
Noninvasive test that detects H. pylori infection in the stomach (a cause of ulcers). Also used to confirm treatment success.

HSV Culture and Typing $75
Tests a swab from an active sore to confirm herpes and determine type (1 or 2).

Lyme Disease Serology w/ Reflex $75
Blood screen for antibodies to the Lyme bacterium. Reflex testing confirms positives. Best interpreted with symptoms and exposure history.

APOE Alzheimer’s Risk $100

Genetic test for APOE variants associated with Alzheimer’s risk. Not diagnostic; results show risk only. (Genetic counseling is recommended.)

Celiac Ab tTG IgA w/ Reflex $100
Screens for celiac disease by detecting tissue transglutaminase (tTG) IgA antibodies. Reflex testing may follow based on results.

CMV Abs IgG/IgM $100
Blood test for cytomegalovirus antibodies. IgM suggests recent infection; IgG shows past exposure.

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Ab, IgM $100
Targets IgM specifically to help identify recent or active CMV infection.

GAD-65 Autoantibody $100
Autoantibodies linked to autoimmune/type 1 diabetes and LADA. Helps clarify diabetes type.

QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus $100
Blood test for latent or active tuberculosis infection. Does not require a return visit like a skin test.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, but that is included int he $25 processing fee that you pay.  A physician will submit the order once you have determined what labs you would like run.

Often, it will be the next day by 8PM.  In some cases, with cultures or tests that reflex to another, it can take longer.  If you have a question about a certain test, please ask. We’re happy to answer any questions.

SmartLABS is self pay only.

There is a one time $25 specimen handling and processing fee.  From there, you can pick and choose the labs you need from the list above.  They each fall within a pricing tier so that costs are fully transparent.

You do not need an appointment.  Simply park in front of the building and walk-in.  We’ll have you fill out a consent form and then we’ll take you back for your labs.
